Kait Cook is an accomplished senior operations leader with over 12 years of experience driving excellence across e-commerce and supply chain environments. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Operations & Operational Excellence at HelloFresh, she successfully led the launch of a new distribution facility—building and mentoring a high-performing team while implementing scalable operational processes. Under her leadership, inventory accuracy improved by more than 60% year-over-year, supporting expanding multi-brand, multi-site networks across two countries.
Prior to HelloFresh, Kait held senior operations roles at Wayfair and Walmart / Jet.com, where she introduced continuous improvement methodologies—such as Gemba walks, 5S, and root cause analysis—that led to substantial reductions in error rates and increased efficiency. Her tenure began in the manufacturing sector with roles at NOW Foods and ProThera, where she gained foundational expertise in quality assurance, GMP/HACCP compliance, and team leadership. A graduate of Georgia Tech (B.S. in Biomolecular & Chemical Engineering) and the University of Nevada (MBA), Kait is known for her strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and talent development—qualities that consistently deliver operational transformation and strong results.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the invaluable experience of collaborating with leading eCommerce companies such as Wayfair, Jet.com, HelloFresh, and Walmart. These opportunities allowed me to work alongside some of the most forward-thinking professionals in the industry and gain a deep understanding of operational efficiency and innovation. One of my most notable achievements was developing a cutting-edge Inventory Counting System that significantly improved accuracy and streamlined warehouse processes. These experiences have shaped my ability to drive results, solve complex problems, and lead with a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life include leadership development, community service, and advocacy. I’m passionate about coaching and mentoring emerging leaders, helping them build confidence, navigate challenges, and grow into impactful professionals. Giving back is also central to who I am—I regularly support local shelters and contribute to causes that uplift those in need. Additionally, I’m a strong advocate for human rights and believe in using my voice and actions to promote equity, dignity, and respect for all individuals. These values guide how I lead, connect with others, and contribute to meaningful change.
